| A favorite where ever she goes, “Sylph” is a 13.3 hand Morgan/ Arabian pony. Maybe it is her unique chocolate coat with flaxen mane and tail, or her entertaining personality or both that has made her popular here at Echo Ridge. Now semi-retired, Sylph was born in 1983 and has been great fun for her owner, Carolyn, through out the 14 years she has owned her. Since getting Sylph, a former endurance pony, Carolyn has done everything with her, from 4-H to eventing at the novice level in the USEA, and lots in between! Some favorite memories include swimming at the local pond, placing 2nd at her first recognized event, dressing up for the annual Halloween hunter pace, and galloping along the beach. Today Sylph mostly spends her days relaxing, trail riding and teaching Kelly’s students the ropes, oh and of course participating in her favorite past time, begging for treats! |
